The pupils of sixth class put a great deal of work into their Irish Aid Project and we are delighted to announce that they have been invited to participate in the Cork Regional Final. There will be an exhibition of the fifteen regional finalists’ projects and an awards prize-giving ceremony on Thursday 16th May. The three regional finalist schools selected to go forward to the National Final in Dublin will be announced on that day. The following girls – whose names came out of the “hat”- will represent the class next Thursday:
Amy Roche, Catriona Browne, Isabelle O’ Connor, Emma Kelly and Lily Reynolds.
Mrs. Marguerite Reynolds has very kindly offered to take the girls to Cork for the event for which we are hugely grateful and the class teacher will also be in attendance. Congratulations to all our sixth class girls.
